Mark has a BSc in Sport Science from the Technological University of Dublin and a MSc in Sports Nutrition from Liverpool John Moores University, UK.
Mark is a graduate of the Technological University Dublin, Department of Sport Science and holds a Master’s degree in Sports Nutrition from Liverpool John Moores University, UK.
Mark is a Performance Nutritionist at MG Performance Nutrition. He was a performance nutritionist at Dublin GAA Senior Hurlers , U20 footballers & U20 hurlers, in professional boxers, ranging from domestic level champions (Irish and British) to European level champions (WBO & IBF) and world title challengers like Jim Crowley – British Champion Jockey. He was also the Head of Nutrition at Synapse Performance which provided WorldClass S&C Education and Sports Science Support.
Mark is a Research Assistant in Dublin City University from August 2019. He was an Associate Lecturer, in Technological Associate Lecturer on the Sports Science, writing and delivering modules on Exercise Metabolism, Biochemistry and Nutrition.
He was a Honorary Staff at Liverpool John Moores University where he continued to carry out research in the area of sleep and also weight making in combat sport. Mark was also delivering performance nutrition strategies to Liverpool John Moores University athlete scholarship Programme in Sports ranged from athletics, rugby, gymnastics, professional football and led the performance nutrition support for Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS) in Karate, Taekwondo and Powerlifting.
