Calvi holds a BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics from King’s College London University and a MSc in Sport Nutrition from Liverpool John Moores University, UK.
Calvi Thompson holds a BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics from King’s College London University and a MSc in Sport Nutrition from Liverpool John Moores University. She is a registered Dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a registered Sport Nutritionist with the Sport and Exercise Nutrition register (SENr).
She has 3 years of experience working as a Clinical Dietitian in a range of medical and surgical specialities within the NHS. She currently works for The Liverpool University Hospitals Foundation NHS Trust as a Specialist Stroke Dietitian, in which she provides specialist nutrition support to aid the recovery and rehabilitation of patients post stroke.
In addition to her clinical work, she is passionate about using nutrition and science to help others achieve their performance, fitness and sporting goals. She is a freelance Sport Nutritionist and provides sport nutrition advice to individual amateur athletes and sports clubs, in addition to writing sport nutrition content and articles for magazines, blogs and websites.
