Athanasios is the Founder and Director of the “Academy of Sports Nutrition”.
Athanasios earned his BSc in Sports and Exercise Science from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and his MSc in Sports Nutrition (with Distinction) from the Harokopio University of Athens in Greece. He is currently working toward his PhD in Sports Nutrition from the International Hellenic University in Greece. He also holds a Certification in Sports Nutrition (CISSN) from the International Society of Sports Nutrition in the USA.
Biography
Athanasios is the Founder and Director of the “Academy of Sports Nutrition”. He has over fifteen years of experience in the fields of nutrition, sports and performance and has worked with many elite professional athletes and teams, who have won many championships.
Athanasios has a BSc in Sports and Exercise Science from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a MSc in Sports Nutrition (with Distinction) from the Harokopio University of Athens in Greece. He is currently working toward his PhD in Sports Nutrition from the International Hellenic University in Greece.
Athanasios also holds a Certification in Sports Nutrition (CISSN) from the International Society of Sports Nutrition in the USA.
He served as a Research Associate in Dr. Manios’ team at Harokopio Univerity of Athens, where he worked on European research projects involving nutrition and sports for more than five years (toybox-study.eu, projectenergy.eu, habeat.eu).
He is the Founder and Director of the performance training facility “Peak Performance” in Greece. He run courses and seminars on sports nutrition in Europe for more than 15 years.
Athanasios is a highly experienced educator and lecturer in the field of Applied Sports Nutrition and Exercise Science and specializes in maximizing athletes’ and teams’ performance.
